Raw Images

These are my raw images for my magazine. when thinking about what i wanted my magazine, i wanted to portray R & B magazines so for my pictures i wanted to the models to come across as daring and cool but with class and ambition.

this is the picture i have choosen to be my double page spread.

i really like like this picture because i like the way the woman is standing with attitude and the man has his arms around her with a smile on his face. to this picture kind of looks like "Jay-z and beyonce" which are a well known couple in the R & B insustry. the thing that i would change with this picture is the background because it dosent really fit with the picture i am trying to create. i also like the fact that the male model has eye contact with the camera but the woman doesent.

i have chosen this to be my front cover for a number of reasons;

1. the photograph is well focused and the composition is good

2. the model has a good expression and eye contact with the camera

3. the lighting is good

4. the shoes around the models neck show her individuality and casual sense of style which i think will communicate well to my target audience

with this image i dont think the pose worked even though it is a nice pose it dosent realy fit with the magazine or type of image i am trying to create.

i like the expression on my models face in this picture because of the seriousness. she has very good eyecontact with the camera but the lightin isnt very good as you can only see half of her face fully.

this picture is nice but i think the model is laughing too much but i like the way she is holding the converses.

i think this image is too plain

this picture is nice of the two models but there is too much background shown and you can't really see the male model

this image is better because there is less background shown but again the lighting isnt very good on the male model, but i like how he is holding the female model and how her hands are crossed showing attitude.

i like this picture because of the way they are positioned and their poses but i think again that there is too much background shown but i could crop this if i want to use the photo.
